Glaucoma is the main cause for permanent blindness around the world. Glaucoma is difficult to be diagnosed and requires costly eye examination procedures. Uses densely connected neural networks to early detection of glaucoma. Glaucoma is the main cause for permanent blindness around the world. Early detection of glaucoma is of crucial importance in preventing blindness which is possible only through frequent eye’ examination. In addition, early glaucoma is difficult to be diagnosed and requires costly eye examination procedures. Convolutional neural networks proved to work very well in detecting very subtle changes produced by glaucoma. In this paper we propose a method which uses densely connected neural networks to early detection of glaucoma.
